Andrew S. Taubman, CPA

Andrew S. Taubman, CPA is the firm's Managing Partner and a talented businessman. He is charged with the development of the firm’s client base. Andy has a unique combination of technical accounting and tax acumen coupled with a solid understanding of how business works. These skills along with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and third parties have often proven to be a successful formula for our clients.
He graduated from the University of Florida in August 1983, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Andy presently lectures in coordination with national investment brokerage firms at seminars on income tax matters pertaining to retirement programs. He spearheads the firm’s international services and is the firm’s representative to Nexia International, a worldwide network of independent accounting and consulting firms. He provides ongoing financial and tax consulting to the firm's middle market companies. He also speaks regularly before business groups on business combinations, current corporate tax issues and on management of professional service firms. He lives in Weston, is married and has two teenage children.
 

Tracey Kinker-Gebert, CPA Manager, Eldercare Services

Tracey Kinker-Gebert, CPA, is the manager of FamilyFirst Elder Planning Services, a division of Friedman, Cohen, Taubman and Company, LLC, Certified Public Accountants located in Plantation, Florida. Tracey has over 25 years experience in public accounting and providing tax; consulting and eldercare services as well as small business consulting. Tracey’s passion is to assist the elderly and provide assurances that the client and their family members are receiving high quality medical and financial services in addition to financial peace of mind.
Tracey is a member of the AICPA and FICPA and recently served as the Chair of the FICPA CPA Elder Planning and Support Services Committee. She also on the Professional Advisory Council of The Community Foundation of Broward.
Tracey graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of Florida and worked with Gottlieb, Kinker & Laufer, PA for 18 years before that firm merged with Friedman, Cohen, Taubman & Company, LLC in 2002.
She has authored several articles and spoken before various professional organizations on the subject of Eldercare Services.
 

Lynn M. Brewer, Senior Manager

Lynn M. Brewer is the firm’s Senior Manager. Lynn’s areas of responsibility include estate and trusts, guardianship accounting and reporting, international tax issues, retirement planning and representation of clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the Florida Department of Revenue in sales tax matters for individuals and businesses.

She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1996. She also attended the University of Lancaster in England and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Honor Philosophy/Political Science in 1979.

Lynn has been a member of the Animal Aid, a foster care program for pets that are available for adoption, and she has been a production volunteer at the Fort Lauderdale Children’s Ballet Theatre. Lynn is active in the community and serves on several boards. She enjoys tennis, biking and running. Lynn lives in Coconut Creek with her two children.


Randee Kinker

Randee Kinker-Gomez is a director in our Estate and Trust Department. She has more than 20 years experience in estates and trusts. In addition to working in public accounting, Randee served as an Assistant Vice President in Trust Administration and as Trust Tax Officer and Portfolio Manager.
